I am slowly starting to appreciate the "small victories" that occur throughout the day. Like doing a load of laundry, sending out Thank You notes in the mail, and especially sitting to cuddle with one kiddo or the other. I have yet to take a nap - but I am continuing to manage my activities since I am still under post-op restrictions from the c-section. I miss picking up Alexander but since the little man is weighing in at 38 pounds, I think its okay. :-)
I do have to make another comment from last week ............ we have been incredibly blessed by our friends and our church family who have brought us meals. I had no idea what a blessing that would be and we are so grateful. And another special THANK YOU to my mother in law who took it upon her self to FILL our new up-right freezer with lasagna, meat loaf, casseroles etc. ... I can't say Thank you enough!
My goals for last week were to shower before noon and eat lunch before 3. So far so good. This week GETTING ALEXANDER TO TAKE A NAP ... AND I AM PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT AS OF 3PM TODAY ... I DID IT! YEAH! I will continue to work on coming up with more of a schedule not only for Jamilyn and Alexander, but also for myself. To spend some time catching up with my devotions and with friends/family and getting some "little things" done ... like attempting to put Jamilyn's room together - and posting pictures on line.
Please pray for Jamilyn and her eating/weight gain. We will check her weight on Wednesday again at the Mother's Bunch and see what other things we can learn about this little one.

Hey my friend! Don't worry...you will get a schedule before you know it. Everything will start to fall in to place. And then...it will change again. :) But it will all start to feel like your "normal." I wish I could be there to hang out...and help you when needed. Know you are prayed for and loved! Call me if you need to. Love you,
Kim
