Day ONE

Well today was my first day to be at home with the kids ... and without adult supervision.
1. Joe's parent's are back in PNG and instantly busy on the mission field, serving our Heavenly Father.
2. My parents left yesterday and are back at work in Wisconsin.
3. Joe is back at work full time

So that just left me, Alexander and Jamilyn. It was a little daunting - but we made it. After a difficult night last night THANKFULLY Alexander let me sleep until 8:15 (hooray!) We had to make a trip to the doctor's office - and Joe joined us for the outing. At Jamilyn's one week check up the doctors were concerned that she only weighed 8 pounds (birth weight was 8 lbs and 12 oz), and then at her 2 week check up still weighed in at 8 pounds. So with a little formula supplementing and a strict feeding schedule PRAISE THE LORD, today our little girl has gained 10 oz!!!!!!! So there is not much concern for the baby - and just continuing to focus on what we can do to make feeding more successful. We are just thankful that Jamilyn is okay.

Alexander continues to be a great big brother - wanting to take turns holding his little sister and for about 10 minutes today he read books to Jamilyn. It was just too cute. He seems to be adjusting well to the new addition to our family.

I will post pictures soon!
