Shew!

So it has been quite a month and I figured you all needed an update.

So we are getting to know our family physician a little to well. To make another long story short, we are on our 4th round of antibiotics for Alexander's chest cold. We have had several tests done and so far everything is coming up without an answer. So we ask for your prayers as he is going in for another test (Upper GI) next week. The good news, Alexander continues to be extremely happy, playful, and growing quickly. Not acting sick or uncomfortable. We are confident in our doctor and trust that he will get to the bottom of this.

During our regular check ups with the physician he has suggested that we see a cranial facial specialist for a flat spot that has developed on the back of his head. So we had the consult today and it looks like we are going to be getting a helmet for our little guy. We learned today that this probably started before he was born and it typically does not show until the child is 3-4 months old. And since Alexander is such a good sleeper, (sleeping through the night since he was 5 weeks old), this does not help the situation and allows the flat spot to increase. So the fitting is next week and we will go from there. However it is still unknown if this is covered by insurance or not since it is a "cosmetic" treatment. arg! So we will continue to press on and see what God has in store for us.
